Crypto Hub Malta

The Crypto Hub Malta leaderboard lists the community members who have been active at the past events, with their ranks based on the number of POAPs they hold. This leaderboard shows how the WIDE platform can be used by the community to track and acknowledge active participation. The workshop demonstrated that members were able to easily upload their POAPs and see their updated status on the leaderboard.

WIDE Integration​

It interacts with the WIDE Platform in several ways ways:

  • Register a new user: User is asked to present a valid POAP (based on the eventUrl). It is validated by the server, and if deemed valid, the user will then be sent back to the WIDE Core Platform (via a back-issuance flow through popups) to create their Membership Credential.
  • Login: User is asked to present their Membership Credential (created in previous step).
  • Claim POAP: A logged in user may claim a new POAP to increase their rank in the leaderboard.
  • Claim Email: A logged in user may claim an email from a profile issued by an OAuth provider (such as Google, Microsoft, or Discord).
